ALGORITHMIC PLATFORM OVERVIEW
The HRE algorithmic platform trades a diversified portfolio of soccer markets from the worlds most popular leagues. Trades are executed by the algorithm at the Betfair Exchange.

Seven features of the algorithm:
1. Trades overpriced soccer market odds throughout the year.
2. The algorithm is designed to distribute profits via regular withdrawals.
3. Trades automatically executed across the most liquid markets.
4. The algorithm learns from its results and optimizes its trade criteria via AI.
5. The algorithm calculates the optimum trade size relative to the account balance, setting each trade size based on the trades probability and level of        risk set by the algorithm licensee (client).
6. The algorithm manages account balance drawdown risk via its diversified portfolio of trades.
7. The algorithm is available under a licence agreement to clients, who have or set up a Betfair Exchange account.

Q&A
Q.   Why does the algorithm trade soccer markets?
A.   Soccer is the worlds biggest sport based on bet turnover which means there is greater liquidity meaning greater bet size and bet number availability.
Q.   How many leagues and markets are traded?
A.   The algorithm trades forty of the worlds highest liquidity soccer leagues with a minimum of three qualifying markets in each league.
Q.   Why do over-priced odds occur?
A.   Overpriced value in the odds occurs when the market has over-priced the level of probability of an outcome of a soccer match, the over-pricing of one outcome causes an under-pricing of opposing outcomes. Over-pricing equals lower odds, under-pricing equals higher odds.
Q.   Give me an example of over-priced odds.
A.   Team A with a market driven probability % of winning at 50% is playing team B with a market driven probability % of winning at 30%, and the draw is at market driven probability of 20% (50% + 30% + 20% = 100%). There are three possible outcomes. Team A wins, Team B wins, or it’s a draw. The market is biased* to a team A win which drives the market probability on team A up and thus the odds on team A down and the odds on team B and the draw up. The market bias has caused negative (lower odds) value on team A and positive value (higher odds) on team B to win and the draw. There is therefore value in trading the odds on team B and the draw as the odds on team B and the draw are over-priced (will pay out more than they should in reality).
Q.   *Why is the market “biased” towards Team A?
A.   Emotion and typically size of supporter base.  The bigger or better followed a team are the more money and number of bets will be placed on them …. to a point beyond their real chance of winning.
Q.   How does the algorithm calculate over-priced odds?
A.   The algorithm runs optimisations of each market over the preceding ten years of results in each soccer league. The algorithm groups matches into quotient ranges based on relative home team and away team strength. Optimises trading on each market to find profitable quotient ranges. As results occur the algorithm optimises each quotient range by running optimisations looking back over the preceding ten years.
Q.   Does the algorithm try to predict the outcome of soccer matches and trade on its predictions?
A.   No, the algorithm trades markets based entirely on its calculation of over-priced odds.
Q.   Why does the algorithm generate profits?
A.   The test results produced +350% annual profits. The test criteria applied a 3% over-priced value and assumed optimum liquidity availability with compounded bet sizes on each market traded. Compounding bet sizes is not available for Socceredge software licensees.  Clients must take the regular profit payouts instead.
Q.   What rate of profit has been generated in live real money trading?

A.    See chart below:

Q.   What’s the average over-priced % of trades in the portfolio?
A.   5%-10%, which equals the portfolio win rate % less average market driven probability of the executed trades in the portfolio.
Q.   Does Betfair Exchange close accounts due to consistent profits?
A.   No, Betfair Exchange earns commission and does not care about profitable account holders.
Q.   Are profits compounded or distributed?
A.   Profits are released from each account by a distribution withdrawal each time the investors account balance reaches either 110%, 115%, 120% or 125% (client decides this at the outset) of the amount deposited.
Q.   How will I know when the account balance has reached it’s targeted profit of the amount deposited and how do I make a withdrawal?
A.   The algorithm will automatically make a profit distribution withdrawal to the investors own bank account that was used to fund the account.
Q.   What is the charge to the software licensee (client) for the algorithm.
A.   50% performance fee funded from distributed profits, ie each time client gets a profit payout it pays 50% to the software provider.
Q.   How is the licence fee collected?
A.   The software provider invoices the client on the day of the distributed profits.
Q.   Give me an example.
A.   An account deposit of £10,000 is made at Betfair Exchange by the client.  The algorithm trades the account until the balance reaches £12,500 (125%).  The algorithm automatically makes a profit distribution withdrawal of £2,500 to the client’s bank account used to fund the account.  An invoice for £1,250 is issued by the software provider to the client and the client then pays the invoice.
Q.   Can I choose the risk level the algorithm trades on?
A.   Yes, you can choose from individual trade value % settings at 1%, 2% or 3%.
Q.   What is the minimum and maximum account balance.
A.   The minimum account balance is £500, the maximum account balance is £25,000.
