BENTLEY INTELLIGENCE PRIVATE MANAGED ACCOUNT

POTENTIAL 50%+ PER ANNUM RETURNS

The Bentley Intelligence ‘Private Managed Account’ product is the latest offering from the

Bentley Intelligence brand.

Following the highly successful launch and then running of the original Bentley Bond back in 2018 the funds under management grew to £9m in just the first 9 months with over 250 individual bondholders having subscribed, earning fixed rates of between 12% pa up to 20% pa dependent upon the sum each person invested.

With two full years of proven performance now under their belt to prove the efficacy of their patented Artificial Intelligence trading technology Bentley are now able to offer the next stage available from this program – the Private Managed Accounts. In addition to two years of “live” provable trading the algorithm Bentley use has been back tested over 6 years and been found to deliver an 82% per annum average return on funds invested over that period. See table below for further detail:

Private Managed Account Service

The key points regarding this Private Managed Service are:

  • Tax-free Income
  • Full control over your own funds as held in your own account
  • You can add or withdraw funds at any time
  • You simply sign a Limited Power of Attorney to enable Bentley’s algorithm to make trades from your account…with profits paid back to your account only.
  • Minimum investment of £20,000.
  • No management fees or entry/exit fees.
  • All profits will be split on a 70:30 basis in favour of the client, with a monthly reconciliation of all amounts payable.

NOTE: BASED ON SIX YEAR BACK TEST THIS WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN A TYPICAL 70% OF PROFITS GAIN TO EACH INVESTOR OF 57.4% PER ANNUM (70% of 82% AVERAGE GROWTH DELIVERED).

If this performance were to be projected forward over the following 10 years at 57.4% per annum net returns to the client a minimum investment level of £20,000 would have grown to £1,185,967 at the end of 10 years.

The Bentley model was originally constructed by building vast databases of football match results and compiling hundreds of variables for each team and players within teams. Classification methods were used to make predictions of winning trades across several different betting markets. In effect, the system attempted to generate a more accurate probability than a bookmaker’s implied probability. It would then make a trade and exploit this edge when odds were in its favour by a significant margin.

Over time, by incorporating more advanced machine learning techniques, Bentley have been able to focus on the highest margin, most profitable trades, and simplify the whole process which brings us to the stage of development the Algorithm is now at.

The team behind Bentley include:

Alan Bentley - a Chartered Accountant by trade who then moved into sports broadcasting in 1992, working with Teamtalk before producing and presenting his own show “Red, White and Blue” on Liverpool LiveTV. In 1997, he joined Sky Sports as a presenter, covering Football League, League Cup and England U-21 games.
In 2001, Alan established a television production company specialising in sports betting programmes. Clients included; SIS, Talksport, William Hill, At the Races, The SportsXChange, ESPN Star Sports and Fox Sports Asia. Since 2013, Alan has worked as a UK leading football analyst for ESPN Star Sports and recently Fox Sports Asia. Alan has a huge portfolio of contacts within the world of sport in general, but particularly in soccer. Critically, he has an in-depth knowledge of the Asian bookmakers and top-level contacts within the industry.

Brian Bentley - joined Bentley Intelligence to support the development of algorithmic trading models across the firm’s asset portfolio. He has an extensive experience of operational management, strategy and financial analysis across a range of industries and works closely with the Portfolio Management Team in the development of trading strategies. Prior to his career, Brian gained a degree in Physics from the University of Kent and subsequently moved into computer modelling using the structured programming languages of the time - Fortran, Cobol and C. Brian quickly realised the potential of adapting and applying sophisticated modelling techniques to the world of sports betting and developed models to take advantage of price inefficiencies. Aside from sports analysis, his personal research interests have been in creating arbitrage oil prices and modelling the economic effects of government regulation following financial crisis.

Angus Loughran - is a British sports commentator and pundit. He appears regularly on television, newspapers and websites, usually concentrating on horse racing and football, such as The Daily Telegraph and online bookmaker Easyodds, writing tipping sections every day. He has also provided English language football commentary for Eurosport and ESPN. He is currently a commentator for BT Sport on their coverage of the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. He first worked for Ladbrokes, providing racing commentary into their betting shops, but rose to fame as “Statto”, the resident statistician on the BBC Two television show Fantasy Football League. Clad in a dressing gown and pyjamas, he would stand in the corner of the set and provide facts and figures on each of the guest’s fantasy football teams, while being made fun of by hosts Frank Skinner and David Baddiel. He also appeared in the Rowan Atkinson comedy film Bean in 1997 and the Mel Smith directed Blackball in 2003.

Peter Reid - His reputation as one of England’s brightest midfield talents of the time at Bolton Wanderers, before signing for Everton in 1982. It was there that he enjoyed the most fruitful spell of his career, as he helped the club win domestic and European honours, including the Football League twice. He was voted as the PFA Players’ Player of the Year in 1985 and came fourth in the World Soccer Player of the Year award, behind Michel Platini, Preben Elkjær and Diego Maradona. He also received his first senior England call-up that year and represented his country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup and 1988 UEFA European Championship. He won 13 caps in total. Peter worked as a pundit for the BBC at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, and also worked for Sky Sports and ESPN before returning to management with Thailand in 2008. He won the T&T Cup with Thailand. He continues to be in demand globally as a professional pundit and coach.
